Why CSPM is Dead (And Why We Are Shutting Ours Down)

We built Kloudle to fix a specific problem: helping devs and small teams find and fix cloud security issues without friction. We succeeded at that.

But the problem has changed.

On January 29, 2026, we are shutting down the Kloudle CSPM product. We are pivoting 100% of our engineering bandwidth to securing AI Agents.

Here is the data behind this decision.

CSPMs are built for Humans

Traditional CSPM relies on a simple loop: Scan, Alert, Human Review, Remediate. This loop works when the “operator” is a human making changes via Terraform or the Console.

That era is over. We are seeing AI agents provision resources, modify IAM roles, and kill services in sub-second intervals. A compliance scan that runs every 60 minutes is mathematically useless against an agent that creates and destroys a vulnerability in 60 seconds.

We are a two-person team. We looked at the trajectory of the market and realized we had two choices:

• Build a “better” dashboard for a dying model (Human CSPM).
• Build the security infrastructure for the new model (AI Agents).

We chose the latter.

The Shutdown Timeline

We want to be respectful of the time you invested in us.

• Now: New signups are disabled.
• Until Jan 29, 2026: The dashboard is live. You can export your data.
• After Jan 29, 2026: We wipe the servers.

What’s Next: Security for Agents Running on Systems, Not Humans

We are not leaving cloud security; we are moving up the stack. Our new focus is on Agentic Security—guardrails that execute in real-time as agents make decisions, not after the fact.
